Equipment Design Group under new ownership and acquired by Rusticator Machinery, LLC.
Equipment Design Group established themselves in 2004, but with their first in-line distressing machine designed and engineered in the year 2001, Equipment Design Group or “EDGI” have been pioneers in this special line of concrete and stone machinery, and was one of the very first companies to apply for a patent for such a machine.
Starting with this first 2001 design, EDGI engineers spent almost three years doing research and development of the design, working closely with people in their facilities, exploring and testing new technologies, and in 2006 they released their newly designed and re-engineered Rusticator EDS or Enhanced Distressing System. With an introduction in 2006 of Rusticator’s proprietary hammer systems, the EDS soon became the premiere one-sided in-line block aging system in the USA. Using our patent pending 3-stage distressing methods on some machines and using our patent pending new Chiseling technologies on others.
Rusticator Machinery, LLC., now has a full line of (aging) distressing machinery. Rusticator Machinery, LLC. plans on continuing to be the leader in this unique line of machinery and by keeping our design and engineering team (now EDGI) we can continue to design and build stronger, faster, and more efficient machines, which is their ultimate goal.
